:

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Computer Engineer IV to support a Navy program on-site in Charleston, SC . The Computer Engineer IV will be leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, mission critical systems in support of DoD operations.

Clearance: TS/SCI

Responsibilities for the Computer Engineer IV include:

• Lead engineering efforts for complex systems supporting NIWC Atlantic initiatives.
• Design and integrate secure enterprise IT solutions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, STIGs).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and configuration baselines.

Qualifications for the Computer Engineer IV include:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux environments and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with secure system design and implementation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications for the Computer Engineer IV include:

• Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or Microsoft/AWS/Azure certifications.
• Experience with DoD cloud environments and DevSecOps practices.

Compensation for the Sr Project Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000 *depending on experience*
